Dani (Team member of Romans Soltani Dentistry)

Dani

Office Manager

Dani has been in the dental field for 15 years helping patients with insurance, scheduling and so much more. With her knowledge of dental insurance, she is able to assist patients with scheduling treatment as well as outlining possible benefits. If she doesn’t have the answer, she will be sure to get one for you! Dani has a natural knack for multitasking and organization, keeping the office running smoothly.

Known for her upbeat and outgoing nature, Dani likes to make people smile. She is always willing to help her coworker in whatever they need, and strives for excellence in all she takes on. Dani and her husband Calyn reside in Syracuse with their only child Jaxon and husky Titan. She enjoys anytime with Jax as its always an adventure.

Donna

Registered Dental Hygienist

Donna has enjoyed taking care of Dr. Dietz’s patients for the past 15 years. She is looking forward to continuing patient care with Dr. Romans and Dr. Soltani.

 She has many years’ experience in periodontics and is certified to administer local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide analgesia. Donna enjoyed working as an adjunct clinical instructor for Canton University’s dental hygiene program. 

She is a firm believer in the importance of oral health and is an active member of a new Dental Study Group in Syracuse. Donna has volunteered for organizations such as the ARC, Special Olympics, and Missions of Mercy.  She believes patients’ deserve nothing but the best of care, attends frequent continuing education courses, and meets with pharmaceutical representatives to stay up to date on current technology. Donna has been involved with evaluating products for Colgate, Colgate Advisory Committee. 

Donna’s family is the most important thing to her. She has a son Michael, daughter in law Kayla , and a daughter,  Kristin. She’s a Gigi to 4 beautiful grandchildren. Michael serves in the US Air Force and Kristin works at Syracuse University.

 She is always willing to try something fun. She loves the outdoors and has a love for sailing, boating, swimming, cooking, decorating, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Donna enjoys football and basketball . 

Debbie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Debbie started at this office with Dr. F. John Sullivan and continued as Dr. R.J. Dietz took over the practice. Now she is looking forward to working with Dr. Romans and Dr. Soltani.  Over the years she’s had the pleasure of caring for several generations of patients. They have become like family to her. 

Debbie graduated with an Associate of Science degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Onondaga Community College making the Dean’s List and graduating with honors. Debbie has received Dental Licenses in New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. She also attended State University of New York at Oswego for Computer Science. Debbie enjoys taking continuous education classes such as Scaling and Root Planning for the Dentist and Dental Hygienist University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. A sampling of the many seminars include: Periodontal Management, Implant Techniques, Oral Cancer Screening, Oral Pathology, Concepts in Digital Radiology, Infection Control, and CPR and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals. Debbie greatly enjoys patients, and helping them with their oral hygiene. She truly believes in giving all her patients the best of care.

 She really enjoys spending time with her two sons. She likes traveling, spending beach time in Florida, taking her FHIIT BARRE & bodyworks classes, skiing, hiking, walking her golden retriever Mia and playing with her “Sunny Cat”. She’s taken many photography classes and loves gourmet cooking.

Samantha

Registered Dental Hygienist

Samantha graduated from Broome Community College in 2012 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science/Dental hygiene. She also has an Associate’s degree in General Studies from Tompkins Cortland Community College, where she took many child development and child education classes. Samantha loves working with children and in addition to working with us, she also works part time as a dental hygienist at a pediatric office. She is incredibly patient and comforting, your little ones will be in good hands!

Samantha has 3 boys ages 19, 17 and 6 and loves watching all the sports they play. Football, hockey, lacrosse, baseball and soccer all keep her very busy. When she isn’t busy watching sports, she loves to be outside, and especially near water. She loves swimming in the ocean, kayaking on her favorite lake- Skaneateles, and hiking near waterfalls. Her favorite falls are Treman Falls in Ithaca and the falls at Watkins Glen State park. Sam also loves attending concerts with her husband and kids during the summers. Sam enjoys scrapbooking, running, Fall Time (football season!), and anything to do with Harry Potter.

Samantha worked with both Dr. Romans and Kim at a previous office and is so happy to be working with them again, and excited to get to know everyone else at the office, and to meet some new patients!

Mary Lou

Licensed Dental Assistant

Mary Lou has been a licensed dental assistant for over 15 years as well as a DANB member. She is a married mother of three and a “doggie mom” to her French bulldog, Roscoe, whom are the loves of her life. When she’s not in the office taking care of patients you can find her in the kitchen cooking, which is her second passion in life.

Mallarie

Licensed Dental Assistant

Mallarie is a licensed dental assistant for over 7 years. She attended BOCES Dental Assistant program and was on the National Honor Technical Society. She is a proud dog mom to her Australian Heeler mix, Lola, who means the world to her. When she’s not in the office taking care of patients, you can find her at concerts and at home enjoying life with Lola.

Kim

Licensed Dental Assistant

Kim, who you may also hear Dr. Romans refer to as “Peanut”, has been a Dental Assistant since 2016. She attended Hudson Valley Community College for Dental Assisting, graduated top of the class and received the First Advantage Dental Assisting Award. She attended Onondaga Community College for Surgical Technology and before that received an Associates degree from Morrisville State College.

She has a daughter, Maysun, and she is Kim’s pride and joy. She is also known as “mom” to their dog, Daphne, a small 9 pound calico cat named Agent 99 and a Maine Coon cat named Nimbu, weighing in at 30 pounds.

When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughter. Kim loves being outdoors and some of her favorite activities include kayaking, hiking, camping, and working on a variety of different crafts.
